This Levitating Storm Cloud Is Actually A Bluetooth Speaker

Written by

After his interactive cloud lamp that could bring a thunderstorm into your living room, designer Richard Clarkson is back! This time, with a bluetooth speaker disguised as a floating cloud.

Created in collaboration with levitation specialists Crealev, “Making Weather” is made of white, hand-fluffed polyester fibers, making each speaker completely unique. The stunning device also has magnets letting the cloud float a few inches off the base. The best part? It has sound-reactive LED lights installed that create music reactions like thunder and lightning, depending on what’s going on in the music. It’s a music thunderstorm in your living room!

Currently, the design is still a prototype, but will hopefully be available to purchase soon.
